This is ment as a replacement for Workbench's "Execute Command" function.
It offers these enhancements
- The workbench isn't "locked", while the window is open.
- The requester is font sensitive.
- You can drop icons onto the window.
- It has a history buffer, so that you can redo previous executions.
- The window opens at the default public screen.
- Executes S:Performer-Startup, where you can setup pipe variables, aliases etc.
- It clones the Workbench's path list.
I'd suggest that you also fetch BetterEdit as this, amongst other, adds filename completion to stringgadgets.
